Bore Me Behrami
By: cathal | December 28th, 2008If ever there is an appropriate time to reflect on Behra, it is now. Many months have passed since he opened wounds with his own transfer speculation and now the wounds have reopened with the rumour that he might be on his way back to the capital (the wrong half, or perhaps for him, the right half of the city).
So why do we all seemingly hate him so much? Well, it’s mainly the fact that he wrote himself out of legend shortly after he made history with this stunning strike in a certain derby. But it’s not just the goal that won our hearts, it’s also the celebration, the perceived passion and his determination that warranted the adulation he received from us. Sadly he compromised that by falling out with various figures, demanding a move, threatening to use the evil Article 17 and his eventual move to a club that have as much chance of reaching the Champions League as Spalletti has of regrowing his hair. Essentially he cast himself as the tragic hero and he fulfilled it to the maximum.
The humourous aspect of all this is of course the fact that he is completely overrated anyway. We valued him so highly because he ultimately cost Rioma a Scudetto. West Ham value him because he exhibits that false fighting spirit he demonstrated with us and Rioma value him because he’s just the kind of shit they like to pick up every once in a while. Personally, I like to remember him for the hurt he dished out and I love the idea that he may well become some kind of infiltrator within Rioma should he sign. I see no real reason to hate him, especially when we have Lichtsteiner and Lollo who have far more talent anyway. Valon will always be a middle of the road, average footballer in my book.
Let’s leave it at that.

Behrami can go to the Merda side of Rome for all I care… actually I think that’s exactly where he belongs. His form is inconsistant and he rates himself higher then what he is actually worth so the Rioma is a perfect match for a player of his calibre.
On the other hand, we now have Lichtsteiner who has already proved himself to be a better, more consistant and hard working player. I Would much rather him then Behrami anyday. Respect to the Aquille who have showed that they have moved on to bigger and better things and as for Rioma… well what can I say… I think they are still hurting from that lovely 3-2 victory last season!! You guys can take our rejects anyday… hell why not take Makinwa off our hands whilst your at it!!
FORZA LAZIO E VA FANCULO RIOMA MERDA!

This is really funny. How desperate are Rioma to want this guy? I mean it’s not like he engineered himself a move to Chelsea or anything. He plays for West Ham for pete’s sake!
Rioma have made a habit of buying ex-Lazio players, they have not made a habit of buying any good ones though.
