@ alex: Pandev is a supporting striker, an intricate player, he has a bit of everything can shoot, can pass, can hold it up, can turn people, dribble etc. The downside is his consistency, for sure. He can be sublime in some games, so devastating that he is unplayable but in others he goes missing. He had a great partnership with Rocchi here; given time he is a player who can grow into the team and become an integral part, if not the main player in it.

My concern is he is not really improving his goal ratio and I can’t work out if he has just lost motivation or if he is simply too inconsistent. Still, he will bag 15 goals a season with ease. When he oozes with confidence, there is nothing you can do about him.

Mr. Ballardini’s press conference is impressive enough to watch – even though I hardly understand italian.

But he comes across quite suave, cool, and confident.

Hope the results next year reflect this.

But the summer transfer market has yet to kick off – will be interesting to see who Ballardini wants for purchases.

ballardini is a quality manager. he can get the best out of his players and get them playing really nice stuff. would of loved him at napoli.

apparently napoli is very interested in signing pandev, apart from a few highlight videos (he looks like a quality player just from them)i havent seen him play in more than a couple of matches. what type of player is he? he seems like a quality dribbler and has pace but is he consistent? a good passer? team player?

Great work Cath although I have to admit that I am yet to be convinced of the appointment of Ballardini as Lazio coach. I personaly feel that there were other options avaliable to us which may of suited or style of play / team better than what Ballardini does. In saying that I hope he proves me wrong but until I see results, I stand by my opinion of the man.
