LiveBlog: Juventus – Lazio

By: cathal | May 30th, 2009

As it is the final game of the season and as it is Juventus, it’s only fair to go out with a bang and subsequently, a LiveBlog.

In order to do this, I need a working stream, so hopefully it will be possible. This is such a last minute idea, I can’t give any guarantees, but it is my desire to bring this game live. Therefore, all being well, the action will be brought to you as it happens.

The season may end soccerwise this weekend but the blog won’t. In fact, if anything, it will intensify so be sure to kieep checking back here. I have big plans for this page and all will become clear in the near future. Until then, sit back and enjoy the big game.

15:07 CET: I hate when a good idea goes spectacularly wrong. Right now, I am trying to load five separate streams but to no avail. Bear with me. I may find something. You have to think one out of five would come good, right?

15:12 CET
: As I still wait on a stream to work, I can tell you the line-up for thid game is apparently: Carrizo, De Silvestri, Rozehnal, Siviglia, Lichtsteiner, Foggia, Dabo, Ledesma, Brocchi, Del Nero, Kozak.

15:19 CET: I should probably point out that Iaquinta grabbed a goal for Juve very early on. I somehow missed that with all my stream hunting. Still none working for me. 1-0.

15:30 CET: Ok, still no stream so it’s time for Plan B. Don’t have a clue what that actually is but I want to catch the second half at least.

16:24 CET: Apologies about the unsuccessfulness of this LiveBlog. I really wanted to go out with a colossal bang but unfortunately that hasn’t happened. Basically, I’ve had no trouble with streams this season, aside from a few games when Atdhe started using Justin streams but for whatever reason, I can’t get a single one to work today. Probably a good thing, Juve have just scored yet again.

16:40 CET: I think it’s safe to say we will not get a result now.

16:47 CET: Alessandro Tuia makes his debut for us. If you have never heard the name, remember it, this is the guy who has long been called the new Nesta. In saying that, I am hearing he made one hell of a foul as soon as he arrived on the pitch.

17:06 CET: The season is over and there is much to dwell on discuss. I’ll be back later with a recap of this game (hopefully I’ll find in-depth highlights somewhere) and I’ll also inform you of what lies ahead here on the blog. Shame about the result, it would have been nice to end this season on a high but nevertheless, Forza Lazio!

Thanks aps, but I’ve never had the patience to negotiate that registration form and i don’t have the time now. Looking into new streams is something I will do during the summer; I’ll try and find various options for next season.

Right now, I’m scouring through the usual rubbish for a glimpse of a Biancoceleste shirt. Technology doesn’t like me at present though.

You’re welcome. For the future is good to know that all the home games were live this season, but the away games weren’t streaming all the time.
    I don’t about next season.
    Forza Lazio!

Tuia made his Serie A debut on my 18th birthday today! He did foul Giovinco but he made an amazing tackle a few seconds before on Giovinco that was clean. Cathal, next season or even during friendlies during the off-season, try using http://www.calcion.altervista.org it had working streams the whole time, it only failed me a couple of times this season. It was an interesting season boys. Ciao

Yes, Pannozzo, I do intend on taking a look at that during the pre-season, that has been my intention all along and what I was alluding to in my earlier comment. Thanks again. Happy birthday mate.
