Taking Shape
By: cathal | June 25th, 2009The bigger picture is beginning to emerge and over the next few weeks, I expect everything to become clear. The main news today is that Eliseu is practically a Lazio player and if you are the kind of person who refuses to believe what you read, perhaps some photographic evidence is required?

The irony of the above image is that will most definitely not be anything like the shirt he will be wearing this coming season…or will it? I’m cautiously optimistic that we will get this design changed. The issue is getting a lot of media coverage and considering Feyenoord fans pulled off a similar motion, I think we may just do the same. When you look at the designs below which include the much disputed “V” pattern, I think you have to conclude it’s a vast improvement. I know I certainly do anyway. Make your feelings known in the comments section and if you haven’t already thrown your weight behind the initiative, take a minute and sign this.

There’s nothing really new on incoming players and you should continually check Lalaziosiamonoi for rumours if you have the time. They seem to be doing the best job at rounding up the gossip. As for outgoing players, Makinwa is said to be close to Malaga and Meghni is wanted by quite a few clubs with Glasgow Celtic the frontrunners. The sooner Stephen is sold the better but I don’t think selling Mourad is the correct course of action. Personally, I’d send him on loan and if he keeps fit and has a stormer, we can sell him next summer for a huge price, if not, then at least we know he’s not good enough and we can get rid then. I don’t particularly see the value in selling him and I hope Lotito has the brains to do something along the lines of what he did with Firmani.

So, two signings down, no sales. Perhaps it’s time to build a bigger dressing room? Forza Lazio!

the ex-change between pandev-ederson is really close,at first i didn’t like this deal but as the time goes by pandev’s price is geting lower so i think lotito is gonna make a good deal and plus pandev won’t be our competition which is also good

I must admit i like all 4 of these shirts, but unfortunately we would have to go without the siemens mobile logo

Yes, but it looks like Del Tongo (I think that’s what they’re called) may sponsor us, so it’s good to draw up a design with a shirt sponsor.
By the way, if there are any budding designers out there who would like to draft up some shirt designs, please let me know.

Honestly I really think Marcus Berg should be our number one priority to get especially now that the U21 cup is over for him and Sweden. He got 7 goals in 4 games and his style of play and finishing would work well with Zarate.
